What's everyone buying with their tax return?

No return for us - we'll write a check to Uncle Sam. I'd rather that then let the government have my money and pay no interest.

Ordered up Brute Force Fab front and rear bumpers. Impatiently waiting for them to be built

 

Just ordered LR UCA's and stage 1 ICON's. Trying to decide what tires to go with. Have to get my tools ready. Wooooot!!!!!!!!

Paid $8 to the state and got $370 back from the government. That's about as close to perfect as one could hope. I laugh at all the people I know on FB that treat tax returns like it's some magic gift from the government.

ITS YOUR MONEY, FOOLS! Save it, pay off debt, give it to a homeless person. You're not winning anything. You've just been held hostage by the government all year.

With my $370ish I'm paying off the credit card my 22RE long block was on. I hate credit cards, so excited to kill this one.

 

A beachfront house for 7 days on Edisto Island......tax returns are always our vacation $$.

I understand your logic and in a perfect world I would agree with you. The honest truth is that a lot of people wouldn't save that money throughout the year if given it in their paycheck (myself probably included). And especially in this current rate environment, it's not like you're going to earn much more in a savings account anyways. To me, it's a nice way to ensure that I save a little each year without having to really think about it. And when I get it back, it's a nice bonus to spend.

 

I wanted sliders, but it's going towards my truck's registration, and then rent for my apartment.
