Man that makes 3, it's amazing how the world works! I've milked about $450 of poker winnings from deployment that my wife doesn't know about, and I need slowly snag some from each paycheck, that way I can pay cash with no paper trail for her to nag me on! Anyone want to buy a Rolex?

If it was up to me i would tell you to worry about your own truck and then kick you in the nuts!!!

To the original poster, do what you want, its your truck/money. If you want to lift it then do what you want and not worry about what others think.

I lifted mine b/c i could. No regrets so far.......

Oh, Lrgrnr.... Even tho you talk ALOT of shit your rig looks gooood (for a 4x4)

I have a Pre-runner & I will be lifting it in the next month. Do what you want to do with your truck & make it your own. There will always be the 4X4 vs 4X2 war, and which is better blah blah blah but if it does what YOU want it to do, and your happy with it (lifted or not) then that's the POINT of doing what you do to it, period!!

I'm going to look at a 99 PreRunner this week, told the guys at work and now I'm a *** for wanting a 2wd truck. I've had three 4x4 Toyota's, I live in BC, lots of mountains, mud and snow. My current truck has a rear locker, 4.56 gears and 32" MT/R's and it's more than capable to do anything I need it to even in 2wd. I want a newer Tacoma again and this truck is cheap, I can't justify spending another $5000 on a similar truck just to have 4wd that I'll probably only NEED twice. Rather spend that money on appropriate tires for winter, summer and commuting.

Haha, or you could get a job.

Unfortunely being prepared in colorado means have 4x4 at hand 24/7 during the winter. It could be a dry winter or a freaking Alaskan s***storm haha So i like to be the one in 4x4 passing the people who decided there Prius or Audi could push through a foot of packed snow :)
