I did a whole winter in a 2wd Mazda B3000, sand bags in the back and not even very good tires at the time, I was a student and couldn't afford anything decent so I bought some chains haha. We get random winters here too, sometimes it snows early soemtimes real late, sometimes it stays for weeks sometimes a day.

Now that I think of it though maybe I'll consider getting a 4wd haha, I needed it last year to get up some ski hill roads. Tough decision I guess, I'm not sure how well the locked 2wd will do going up snowy service roads, mind you I'll be able to invest in a real good set of snow tires this year and I can always load in some sand bags. And if all that fails I could just get a set of chains to throw on.

Dang now you got me doubting myself haha, either way I was planning on lifting a 4wd or PreRunner with CO's and UCA's. All the 4x4 Tacoma's in similar condition and mileage are all 5-6000 more though and that more than covers a good set of tires and some chains.

Is this the 3" lift? I've been thinking about it lately. The 6" lift is a little too tall for my liking and I like how your tires are somewhat aggressive but not full on swamper-ish which a lot of guys around me like to use.
