No trance?????? I haven't listened to it much lately, but I was sooo into it for awhile. With all the current crap they play on the radio, lately I've been reliving my teen years listening to alternative/new music such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, INXS, Depeche Mode, New Order, PIL, the Jam, Yaz...and the list goes on.

Switch classical and metal and thats pretty much my order...except the top. I've really gotten into post rock lately. It's instrumental rock that starts soft and just builds to some sweet sounding music. Search youtube for God Is An Astronaut, Mono, and Explosions in the Sky to see what it sounds like.

I remember reading that the guys from Explosions in the Sky are physically tired after playing a show...if you listen to their songs you could understand why!

I am not a country fan at all, BUT...Older country music, the REAL country music is something to be heard. I'm 35 and all of my employees are NOT .They are in their 20's and switch between rap and country like it's the same. Now my favorite band of all times is the DOORS. But I grew up on Country. Coe, Atkins,Price,Nelson.Cash.Partride,Carter,Lynn,Wells, Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Scaggs, MIllsap, I don't know, new country is pop, I would like to ask one of these gusys to saddle a horse or show me how to dress a pig. Probably wouldn't happen.

I grew up on rock and still listen to it daily. but I also like the new country music because it is more like the music of the early 70's and late 60's with a story to tell. Besides all that we spent 7 days in Nashville for the CMA music festival 2010...............OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my the the country girls look so good.

I listen mostly to hip hop, and usually older stuff at that. I also like some alternative, rock, and some pop stuff...just no country or dance stuff. Listened to hip hop soley for a long time (89-95 ish) but there is too much good music to be stuck to just one genre...

    #1. Otep

One of the best female fronted metal bands ever. 4 great CDs, I can pop any 1 in and just let it go. Great music, great lyrics, great voice.

    Some Great Songs:

    Special Pets:

    #2. Eths

Another Female fronted Metal band. A FRENCH Metal band though. Can't understand a damn word she says but she screams/sings wonderfully.

Really, Really hard to find something good anymore. I've given up and I stick with Otep for the most part. All I really listen to, all I really need, has everything I really want in my metal music.
