    Hey Everyone,
I've been a Tacoma owner since I got my 99 SR5 4X4 in 2001. But now I have two new Toyota's. A 2019 TRD Off Road 4X4 in cement color and most recently acquired 1982 4X4 that runs but needs some emissions work .

I'm not sure where to begin, but I do know my 1999 is set up just like I like it. It takes me to almost any desert location I wanna get to. I'm looking forward to building up the other two trucks with advice I find in the various forums.

I come here to get ideas, find advice, and just enjoy reading about what you all are doing to your trucks. Thanks

Thanks for the welcome guys. I’m kinda letting my bank account recoup for a minute.
I did order rock sliders and Spyder spacers for the 2019. The 82 got a tuneup, oil change, and replacing exhaust system including cat converter. Immediate prob with it; lights aren’t working at all. Checked fuses; all good. Maybe a short in turn signal/light switch?

Plan to add Kings, UCA, and add a leaf to 2019, then wheels and love ko2’s. I go back and forth with the King / Icon choice. ?

    Thanks again for the welcome.

It’s been a couple months since last post asking for suggestions on what mod to do first. Between what you all suggested and reading tons of posts here, I’ve complete some cool mods I think.
    Installed the following:
    - RCI rock sliders - power coated w grate tops. I did this first since I hate door dings mostly.
    - King coil overs w adjustable reservoirs
    - Total Chaos UCAs
    - King shocks w reservoirs for rear
    - OME Med leaf pack
    - Had an alignment done after letting suspension settle in a few weeks
    - Pop and Lock to tail gate
    - Painted grill chrome ring satin black
    - Added pics of my wife w my grand boys to monitor. Best mod to date!
    - And last thing done was KO2s - 285/75/16 mounted. (Bday gift from my wife!)

Rims- keeping stock for now. I like the look.

Many thanks for TacomaWorld for all the good advice. I’m sure as this nasty habit continues I’ll be back for more.

Let’s see the grill, you’ve painted. I’m considering doing the same.

I only painted the Chrome trim ring. It’s pretty easy to remove it for painting.

That’s what I was considering, just the chrome ring. Looks good!

What’s the paint type/brand, and how did you apply it, spray or brush?
