Yep, straight from the dealer. It's supposedly a "subwoofer", but I'm more curious what size speaker it is, and if I can replace it with an aftermarket speaker. Any ideas? I don't wanna be the virgin to take it apart first!:D

How handy are you? I'd gut it out and fit two 8" JL's in there, fiberglass it sealed, line-x it and throw an amp under your seat. That'd be pretty trick. I could always do it for you if you don't feel good working with fiberglass

That is such a terrible design! It does not fit the design of the cab and stands out too much. Looks like a freaking alien.

I was thinking "Hal" too...good one!

if you don't really care for it much I would gut it just to see what is in it and do a write up about it. Just for the rest that are curious about it as well (Me being one of them lol). If you do, I wouldn't until you find/figure out how to dismantle it properly.

Seriously...I can't believe no one has taken this thing apart yet. I think the majority own double cabs so there is a lack of write-ups on the access cab.

Examine it closely and figure out how to remove the cover. It was assembled and CAN be disassembled. Dive in and take pictures!
