canyon or Colorado v-6 or diesel 2016. Unless someone else can sell me a 300ish ft lbs torque and mid to high 20's mpg with xtra cab and 2wd and 5+speed auto.

right now my 013 180 ft. lbs and 24 mpg access cab and 2wd 4spd auto is pretty weak, and not competitive to say the least. Sad......

Scion FR-S. Been a diehard subie fan for decades, but just like the FR-S front clip better than the BRZ and can't get the 86 in the states. Bought it in March 14. 11k so far on my commuter car.

What a car. Allows me to have fun every day on my commute. Which is rural roads instead of the freeways. Had I been stuck with a freeway commute, I would have had to go with the automatic. This car is a good investment, just like my CJ7 and 09 Dbl Cab, and Gen 2 Outback I had for a decade. All money well spent.

Looking at either a TRD Sport DCSB or an FX4 F150 if I go with a truck and a Accord V6 sedan or Infiniti Q50 if I go with a car

I'm going to buy a 2015 F150 on run out late next year. It's interesting that there are 7 Taco guys in this thread alone considering doing the same thing. Toyota needs to get an updated Taco ASAP.....

I did the opposite and went from an STI to the Tacoma.... I still have it, and drive it all the time just because it's so damn fun.

A couple years after I paid the truck off I got my dream toy:

I'll keep the Tacoma until the wheels fall off. Whenever I'm forced to replace it, I'll most likely get some kind of diesel pickup. Which one will just depend on what's available at the time. I'm glad light duty diesel trucks are finally starting to be offered.

Plan is to drive the current Taco for 10 years so for my next ride I have my eyes set on a 2025 Tacoma which might just be the final year of the third gen.

A ways off, but probably another Tacoma. Don't really need a full size truck, but don't like cars and would rather have a bed than an SUV.

Considering this is my 5th Tacoma, my next vehicle will be my 6th Tacoma. This one was a lot more expensive then any other I've ever had, so it will take a while longer than average before I trade it.

Paid cash for mine, and saving right now for once I get our of college. House is next and then another sti, I miss my old built wrx. Or a z, most fun car I've ever driven. Granted, mine was cammed with ported heads and a few other things, but definitely one of the most fun cars I've ever owned.

Something that rides a little softer at my age. Leaning towards a Santa Fe since it can tow a boat. I'm really dissapointed with the quality of my Taco. Frame rusted, some interior lights not working, vibration in steering wheel, etc. Cheese... ya'd think it's a Chevy or something...goodby Toyota.
