Thanks, guys. It's a hoot to drive!

Joe - '13 or '14? I bought a new front spoiler for mine I'll install when I sell it (at retirement). The one on my car is pretty scuffed from dips in the road.

Probably going to get rid of it (my 2014 DCSB) and keep my newly purchased SVT Raptor and FR-S. I originally bought another Tacoma (previously had an '07 AC V6 6MT) since it's the only non-RAM truck with a 6-speed manual (do not like Frontier interior), but i really preferred the 2009-2011 front end and regret that it wasn't a TRD Off-road AC 4x4 that I got.

From what I've been told in private and heard elsewhere bit-by-bit, I am not liking the 2016 anymore and disappointed with the carryover aspects of it after 11 years. Phoning it in is not acceptable (like Ford's defunct Ranger), likely just because your investments are growing on the luxury end (Lexus) and general contentment with your position.

Not sure why it might take until 2018-19 for a proper ground-up FMC. Toyota is not poor, so it doesn't make sense (outside of reliability) some of the decision-making. Not in my hands of course.:annoyed:

Elio came to my city a few weeks ago and I got to sit in one. It fit like a glove. I think this will be my next ride.

I've owned my current Tacoma for 5 days. (2001 Xtracab) But maybe in the Spring I will double up on vehicles again and get an IS350.

Seeing I have my 2012 Tacoma, and recently added the '14 FJC to the fleet, I won't have to worry about a new rig for a long time.
That said, I do need a pickup, and if something happened to mine, I would replace it with another Toyota.
Hopefully a 3rd gen will be offered with a diesel.
For the "fun car", I still have my Nova. That one stays, as it has for the last 36 years.

So many cars (and trucks), so little time. Since my Tacoma is a '13 and our other car is a '13 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo, I can't see another car in the immediate future. Although, I love the new Dodge Challenger, SRT Scat Pack edition of course.

Maybe a new wife. :D

Don't really have anything "next" per se...

Will probably drop the Tacoma around 175k-200k miles, try to get a decent price for it, and put the money towards mods for my weekend driver.

How do you like that decision? I want to sell my 4runner for a Tacoma but fear it will be too small for what I need, so the next logical choice is the Tundra.

Salesman at the dealership told me he wanted a Tacoma but had to tow 10,000# so he got a Tundra. Found out the 10,000# was a 6? GTO:eek: I knew they were solid... but:confused:

So far I like the tundra a lot. Power is great and it's very roomy. It's a big truck, certainly won't be 4 wheeling it but I've got plans to build my 98 4runner for that. Eventually the 4runner will be on 40s so for longer trips the tundra will get used to tow it and the 10k tow rating will be used.
Only thing I don't care for about the tundra are a few of Toyota's design decisions for this 14.... The rear seat folding, cheaped out non-leather steering wheel, no auto headlights, and lack of center console divider, too much chrome, and no 110 outlet anywhere bugs me but certainly not enough to keep me from getting the truck. Fuel economy isn't great either... When they say 13/17 they mean it. For reference, mine is an SR5 TRD Offroad crew max 5.7L so I would have expected a few of those things standard on it but I think only the higher grades get them.

I had 2 Tacoma's over 8-1/2 years. Could have easily got another, but decided on a Ridgeline instead. So far, its been great.
