    I would recommend:

    - Clean MAF sensor
    - Fuel System Cleaning (the real deal)
    - Sound insulation inside the doors and under the carpet
    - Brake fluid change
    - Differential fluid change
    - Grease the driveshaft and its zerks
    - Grease ball joints (upgrade them if old)
    - Tundra Brakes
    - Dash Cam?

I saw them on Amazon and ordered them... I did adjust them down as they were high but I agree the light output is scattered a little. I don't drive it much at night (its our 3rd car) so I'll keep an eye out of other options.

Oh come on it's a wallet not a purse... :muscleflexing: Now, it maybe a $500 wallet that will be consistently void of cash! :bananadance:

    Thanks Tacoman...

I was thinking about the MAF as I had to get the truck inspected which was failing due to the Air Fuel Sensor and I bought a can of the cleaner... Finally got it passed so I'll probably start on that and the Throttle Body. How sensitive are the MAFs on these trucks, my old Maxima was very sensitive to cleaning and sometimes made them worse, what benefit if any would one see from cleaning it?

I did a good dose of Seafoam in the Brake Booster line and that smoked up a storm... By a "real deal" do you mean removing the injectors and cleaning them per this thread? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/what’s-the-best-fuel-injector-cleaner.610850/

I've also noticed quite a few threads about upgrading to Tundra brakes, I'll have to look up more on that for next time as I have new rotors and pads ready to install. I started the install just to find that one of the pins was rusted pretty bad so I stopped and ordered new ones, so that's coming soon!
Thanks for this info I'm going to start the list of things.

So this truck had the frame replaced a number of years back, still looks great but I was wondering what the opinions are on POR15 treatment to preserve it for longer in the future. I have some minor rust around the edges I'd like to clean up and then paint with POR15....

As promised, some lower cost tool alternatives.

When I started the project, I had trouble finding the Schley crankshaft tool. Online sellers nor Schley had the tool in stock when I needed it. I'm actually glad they didn't have it in stock. I found a multi-purpose alternative with the OTC 4754 tool.

OTC Tool -- Now you caught me using cheater bars "black pipe" that I bought a Lowes many years ago.

How to mod the tool for the crankshaft pulley.

C-Clamps for holding the belt to the pulley. This allows you to stretch the belt from the top to provide slack for the belt to be easily pulled over the tensioner.

The Lisle Seal Puller in action. This is the recommended tool for pulling the camshaft seals.

Freeze the seals before installation. It makes them so much easier to install. I use a little bit of red grease on the metal surface to keep the seal from being pinched during installation. After freezing seals, I had a couple of that I could practically install with my fingers. It’s a game changer.

I used a PVC pipe end cap as the cam seal installation tool. We’re talking a couple of bucks for this tool at Lowes.

Used it for installing the transmission and front main seal. It works the same way for both seals.

Nice truck. I did most of the things you did when I first bought my truck. I would also suggest flushing and changing the coolant to Toyota long life, changing the hoses and swapping the thermostat.

I just installed aftermarket headlights in an '03. The left one is looking for stuff up in the trees about 20ft lol. Curious to know exactly how you adjusted them (a couple of pics would be great if not much trouble) Up/Down, Left/Right adjustment locations? Etc

    Nice looking truck, btw!!
