    OP has not responded In 2 days. TW has lots of info on rear suspension lifts etc etc. and fronts too.

    Why? This thread actually has a dialogue with some technical discussion as to why there is an opinion that blocks are bad. Quite a few threads are just opinion without detail. I realize the OP hasn't posted for a while but others, including me, have found info here that, quite frankly, wasn't noted in past posts that I've seen. There's at least one person on here - that's me - that learned something.

    ...back to your regularly scheduled programming... :rolleyes:

    to do it 100 % right and get no bind, you would want a limit strap. that is what i have and it stops the suspension before it fully droops out.

    i guess toyotas stock shocks have a droop stop, i dont know. but i know with shocks that dont have that (most dont) you will tear them up eventually if that is what is stopping your suspension first.

    because when your suspension fully droops, what stops it? something has to. (ball joints, shocks, steering?) you dont want those to be your limit straps, because they will break over time.

    you dont need to do it like this, but this is how i will do every suspension set up that wont be driven like a street queen.

    i know i went way off what the thread was even talking about.... but oh well lol
