What's the best bear spray?

They run from people? No.

(Just one example) The first week of scouting for hunting season (this year) I followed Lion tracks that were following at least one human and one dog for 3 miles down a trail.

 

Was this is CA or out of state?

 

What was the time between tracks?

 

CA... But it happens quite a bit, more often than you would think.

All the tracks were fresh. They were from the same day. And I know the lion was following because the lion tracks were on top of the human and dog tracks.

That lion wasn't even trying to hide. It was basically strutting right down the middle of the trail.

 

Kinds speaks to my point...in CA there is no cat season. Or bear, right?

No cat hunting season, but yes, there is a bear season.

Grizzly Bear hunting is pretty regulated in Canada in general.

 

I'd go with copper solids like mandated in California.

 

When water is scarce.... so is the food they normally eat. It would much rather eat the dog than the human.
