Honestly don’t think it’s worth your time, money, or effort to swap 885’s for 886’s or 887’s onto 5100’s.

if you were starting from scratch then yes, research and choose the right one. But what you got now is fine.

sort of waste of money for nominal difference in my opinion, unless you got a deal and gonna do the work yourself. I have 884’s with 5100. It works great for me and I do a good amount of Offroad, but I have no additional weight. My friend had 884’s with eibach shocks and I just swapped his 884’s for 888’s. Yes, it’s slightly better (fuck eiback shocks, the 5100’s are an order of magnitude superior to the eibachs) but if your gonna upgrade, do a real upgrade and get some better specific coilovers to the specs of your truck, ie., king, fox, etc.. with appropriate spring rates and all that.

edit: just noticed you on Maui, right on brah

Rajah my Brada mahalo always good to here another Brady here I'm on budget built so trying not to spend too much unless I have no choice. Might have to run this suspension until broke then get reason to buy the expensive one later. Lol. I know 887 softer than the 886 so might go with the 887. I'm just adding winch with my bumper. 885 can handle 180 I don't want to add another weight and the coil no can handle.

Ah, I see. Well, if your gonna need new shocks too then disregard what I said earlier. I go back and forth about what I am gonna upgrade to, and generally end up deciding what I have is good enough. Haha. Good luck brah.
