    For longevity in my experience nothing beats the OEM Rotors and Pads. I have never had to replace a set under 100,000 miles.

    How is it offroading with Slotted and or drilled rotors? Any major squeaks and noises after?

    TRD mats and seat covers, smoked tail lights, smoked turn signal corners, Revtek lift, Access LE tonnaeu, HIDs, grillcraft mesh grill, TRD CAI, custom bike racks, Alpine system.
    Where have you guys found is the best place to buy OEM rotors? I'd prefer not to buy them from the stealership. What's the OEM part number?

    I normally don’t care for OEM parts but when it comes to the wiper blades and the brakes on this truck it’s hard to beat OEM.

    Just be aware, when you go higher performance on brakes (rotors and pads), it means they will wear out much faster.

    OEM I think is the best bang for the buck. I haven’t touched my brakes after 76k miles and know people with almost 200k on the original pads.

    Oem pads for sure. I changed mine at about 45k figuring that they should be about due This was based on experience with other vehicles at around this mileage or less. Surprise!!!! about 2/3 of the pad thickness remaining and no wear ridge at all around the periphery of the rotors. In fact, the rotors looked brand new.That is mostly stop and go driving too.I changed anyway to eliminate that brake clunk that we seem to get and that did go away. Unless you need performance pads for some reason ,OEM is the best overall choice. This holds true for Toyota. I can't say the same for VW however.

    AFE intake and Magnaflow cat back exhaust.
    OEM rotors/pads OR BREMBO rotors/pads. Thats what I have used so far and I am satisfied. The BREMBO kit will run around $300 from tirerack.

    I’m running power stop brake pads and rotors. So far so good. Has a meaty grab. No worries anymore for quick stops.

    HAWK Performance.

    260-280 for rotors AND pads
    rotors are drilled (for looks only, drilling does NOTHING for performance or cooling) and slotted with a very strict and special formulation of steel
    pads are light truck, high performance or high performance plus formulations.

    It all depends on your preference.

    For long lasting, least brake dust, and decent performance, stick with OEM. I got 160k (mostly hwy) out of my original pads, rotors were still good and just needed to be turned. I went back with OEM pads and checked them a few weeks ago, 45k miles on these and about 75% remaining.

    "Performance" pads might stop quicker but you're trading that off for faster wear and usually more dust.
