5100s ride better on and off road than OEM billies? Or which application are they an improvement for? Smoother off road but stiffer on road?

I have no idea, I was just answering the gentleman's question on what a 5100 does as far as settings.

Would this work the same with my TRD OR 2WD, I know yes, 2WD. Because my 2WD TRD OR sits noticeable lower in the front then compared to the 4WD TRD OR which to me sit leveled as is!

My 16 trd sport rides way better than stock off and on road. I have 5100 on all 4 corners and fronts set at 1.75 with stock coils

What makes it so much better? Coming from Hitachi shocks I can understand why. I test drove a sport and bounced all over the road after hitting a speed bump at 25mph

They're very similar to the factory Bilsteins equipped on the TRD OR. So similar that if you already have an OR I wouldn't waste $ swapping from factory Bilsteins to 5100's in the rear. Just swap the fronts and set to 0.85. If you have a Sport or SR5 I would swap from those shocks to the 5100 in the rear, or if you find some cheap used factory OR shocks.

I'm not sure, I've heard Headstrong gives good prices to forum members. Call them and ask.

I'm waiting for the 2016's aftermarket to mature a bit more. There should be some more options by the end of the year, and I'm okay getting a few more miles out of the stock stuff

Quick question before I install these 5100 on my truck. What setting should I use for the front and rear for a nice leveled result? and what else should I get besides the shock? Thanks in advance

Also would a Fox 2.0 or 2.5 coilovers level my truck alone?

What's sad is that the old C-10 still looked pretty solid. :annoyed:

Actually that looks like the same truck I owned in 1974... full size Cheyenne Super..... It was a piece of shit..... I wish I could have afforded to do that to it, I tell you....What a rust bucket.... I had to keep the tailgate closed or the bed sides would flop onto the road... hehe
