You will get lane departure alert but not lane departure assist. I'm OK with that.

So once 18's are being built, no more 17's coming to dealers?

G wagons come with front, center and rear. I believe the only production vehicle with all 3. But they're also 120k starting for the base.

Curious, did any "pro" tacoma come with anything other than a suspension tweak and some bolt ons?

Glad to see cement on the TRD OF next year. I hope this time around I can get the color I want for at or below MSRP...

It seems that some of the packages are streamlined based on the new spec sheet that was leaked. Would it be possible to find a 2018 cement TRD OF without the premium or technology package? I don't care for the leather seats or moon roof and as long as the truck has a basic back up camera, I don't need parking sonar. And I see that tow package is included by all V6 Tacomas which is nice.

I'm afraid that since the color I want is likely going to be highly sought after... Toyota will only deliver these trucks with some sort of package on it.

I just want a cement TRD OF with no added packages... Is that realistic? Anyone have a 2017 quicksand TRD OF with no additional packages? If they do, I'll hold out some hope.

Honestly you’ll probably be able to “order” the exact truck you want but may have to wait a bit.

For the life of me I’m not going to pay 309 for all weather floor mats myself. Lol...
Full set of WeatherTechs are about 200.

I’m currently on CarGurus looking at 2017 SR models.

I certainly hope this is the case. I keep reading different things about Toyota's "ordering" process. Its usually one of the two following flavors:
    1. Toyota makes what they make. If a dealer lets you "order" one, then they are just requesting that one of the units be sent to the dealership.
    2. Toyota makes whatever combination you want (using the online configurator) and the time you have to wait is based on if the unit needs to be located/made/shipped/etc.

    Both seem about right though,

The easiest track for them is if option 1 can be found in their allocation timeline.

In my case they found what I wanted in color and model in their allocation timeline but had to ask South East seven times to get a “yes” to my request to have a Conv Package truck but remove the back seats nd belts and such from a 4cyl 5-speed 4X4 and make it a Utility Package truck. The sales manager assured me if I was patient and he asked a lot they would eventually cave and modify it at “port” for me. He was correct.

Adding an front locker would definitely be awesome, but I bet it would be a significant change that would not be cost effective for Toyota.

Besides the suspension upgrade (not just a tweak, but new suspension), the current Pro also comes with wheels, leather seats from the limited, the hood scoop from the sport, the option to get the cement paint, and all of the premium/Tech package stuff (minus the sunroof). I probably missed some other features, but all of that added to the locker & crawl control features from the O/R, I think it's pretty awesome combo!

17's are still arriving in Charlotte... cumulatively, there has to be 400-500 of them on the lots now. Holding out for an 18 is so hard.

What separates the suspension difference between the OR & PRO? 1" lift up front, and King shocks. What else? Gotta agree with you!
