What model u waiting on? I almost took an 18 pro so I could get it sooner but can't justify 6k difference when I want at least a 3 in min lift so I'd be changing the suspension either way

I think the Pro has a great out of the box package... but cannot justify the price jump either. I am leaning toward a blue OR 4x4 with the new premium OR package. Can't decide on short or long bed :notsure:.

I ordered a TRD Sport with the M6 in Barcelona red. In Canada when you order the manual you get leather interior, moon roof and short box. For me it's tempting to just buy a '17 Tundra because they have a 5 grand discount. I could save $6000 getting the Tundra over the Tacoma.

Wow. In okla I can get a tundra with 6k off but equally equipped is still 4k more. I had a 15 tundra crew 4x4 and it was great just too big and hard to get in garage with wife's suv and in the city parking and narrow city streets I much prefer smaller even though comfort isn't as good. Plus I put on 35k a yr miles and at 5 to 6 mpg difference is also a decent amount. I also like driving the smaller truck ot.is more fun.

I'm going with short bed i do not haul anything I can't fit.in short and it fits much easier in garage and much better in city. I'm still going cement at this point.

Definately like the cement option too. I park in an uptown garage daily so I will probably go short bed too. Looks like I still have more time than I want to make up my mind... lol! Oh well... will be worth it this time next year when I find some nice trails to check out the Fall foliage... Can't wait!

We also have out 3rd vehicle which is an 04 gx470 with 102000 miles. I drive it split sometimes to help keep.my miles to 60k every 2 yrs and I took it yesterday with wife and she said it now time for me to get new 3rd vehicle that this one hurts her back and now uncomfortable. So looks like I'll have to decide what to get for it. My wife has a 14 vw tourareg diesel she got Dec 14 which replaced the 04 gx that we kept ad 3rd vehicle. She loves that vw. She thinks maybe get a new 18 tiguan as 3rd. I told her maybe a trd pro 4 runner

For me it's also the gas mileage and size that's pushing me to the Tacoma. It's just hard to get me head around the fact that I'm buying a smaller truck for more money.

Could say the same for some of the color options. Those mop water gray and baby's-first-diarrhea colors that everyone loves so much... ugh.

Txs for clarifying. is that the only suspension difference??? For $10,0000 more, your only getting Leather, fake hood scope & tires/rims??

IDK where this 10k is coming from, but that's a little high IMO. IIRC a TRD O.R is around 36k, and PROS around 43k.

I'm waiting for a TRD OR in cement as well. Glad that cement was the trickle down Pro color. Hope I can get one with no packages!

All packages "available"... So there's hope I can get one with no packages?

TRD OR in cement WITHOUT premium or tech packages. That would be my dream.

    :fingerscrossed:
