Yes, cavalry blue with a 6-speed. They confirmed the 18's are being allocated, but don't have an exact date or price for my build.

That's absolutely the only reason I can see ordering a Pro. A unique color not available to the other models.

Good for you. Looking forward to the pics.

FYI, the blue 4Runner Pro at the state fair of Texas looked good in blue.

Well, he should be good from delivery until the availability of the next model year. In the case of Cavalry Blue, they may not make that one widely available. Guess we'll know in about 12 months.

Lol, if they do, they do. Cement took off in popularity, and Toyota did the smart thing by offering it as a standard color. I'll still have it a year earlier... ;)

I’ve never ordered a vehicle before that year model hit the dealership. Are y’all getting any kind of discounts or offers or just paying msrp? If you don’t like it when it comes in are you on the hook for a deposit or full price? I wouldn’t mind ordering an 18 but I don’t want to walk into the dealership without being prepared and trying to get the best deal available. Thanks

I agreed to pay MSRP. If it comes in, or even before that, I can back out, and will receive a full refund of my deposit. Since I'm going with a Pro model, I'm good with MSRP, knowing the dealers around here typically sell them for thousands over.

Is the new blue similar to the blue on the Subaru BRZ?

No, not as baby blue as that in person. Kind of a flat sky blue is how I'd describe it.

Hmm.. have never seen that color here or I'm not paying attention. I'll have to keep an eye out. I mostly see red, green & tan fj's

If you're asking about the Cavalry Blue, then yes it sort of is. The BRZ STI Sport edition is a little more silver. In any case the Cavalry Blue is a TRD Pro only color and it's best judged by seeing in person. I've seen it on a 4Runner in person... Went from not liking it to getting on a dealer list for a Tacoma Pro.

Included for anyone wondering which BRZ is being discussed.

    https://www.topspeed.com/cars/subaru/2018-subaru-brz-sti-sport-edition-ar177678.html

I think @ratcityrain is talking about this BRZ color. It is similar to Cavalry Blue but is lighter and has more of a silver component to it.
