They were in my neighborhood for these photoshoot's. This one is on the Navajo Reservation near Monument Valley. Wonder how much they had to pay the Indians to shoot there?

This is a really nice shot taken next to the San Juan river near Mexican Hat Utah. A short distance north of the reservation. The Mexican Hat Syncline can be seen in the back. A really cool geological formation...Kirk Out

Problem for me is I want the 6 speed manual... which is pretty much a mandatory special order.

Nothing special, Quicksand TRD Offroad, only the tow package, mudflaps, bed tie downs with door sill guards. Most are automatic and/or have a tech package, roof rack, bed cover also which adds a lot of money in stuff I don't want.

yeah that's true...often lots are full of bling models and nothing I want. I want a TRD OR with leather but without tech package...not likely gonna find that right away.

So then what do you do? Settle for paying a higher price to get your special order? Or settle for less than exactly what you want?

I do nothing and hope they have a bunch of what I want for 2018 or 2019 instead of the picked over 2017's on the lot now.

Even now I have found 6 speeds on the lot out west, so not all hope is lost for future model years. Right color and fewer options (not like there are a ton of options anyway) isn't that huge of a dream.

The nearest dealer is 60 miles away so it is an uphill battle for sure.

I am also going to buy a 6 speed mt OR. With the premium trd off road package and technology package. I also want cement color. I am not sure how other regions work, but in the southeast, I can view all available vehicles, and can narrow down to see exactly the color and options. Then I can get the available dates and VIN’s and send them to multiple dealers and say let’s make a deal. If they don’t want to play ball, then I wait. They will reach out to me and make a deal. Click on the link below and select narrow results. You will see what mean. I can see exactly what is available for my area.

Same here. Not seeing much I want to drag home in my area at the moment though.

Cement is a neat color too...

I ordered a car under the X Plan and it was no hassle at all as I got exactly what I ordered, maybe you had a shitty dealer. Protect-O-Plate was a Metal Plate with your Options stamped on it in General Motors Vehicles, not sure why the Ford Dealer was trying to sell you one.

How does the Pro price compare to an OR with black leather?

Haha, yeah it was identiplate or some crap like that where they put a sticker with a serial number on a bunch of the panels and charge you $500 bucks for keeping track of your parts if your car is stolen and stripped or something. Definitely had a shitty dealer. I had bought a King Ranch Expedition from them a few years prior to that and it was a painless experience. Not sure what happened but they lost a customer for life.

There is a beautiful black OR manual with tech and tow at one of the local dealers, I drove this past weekend. It was nice but I am holding out for leather, cement and TSS-P.

An error. No manual in anything except TRD models at least in the USA. That document has many errors in it. Crazy that they released it again today. I ran it through Adobe Acrobat comparing it to last weeks release and they are exactly the same.

With so many errors how can you predict, with certainty, that he 5 speed manual is for sure discontinued? Or that the 2.7L won't be offered with the 6 speed m/t? Very odd the number of errors.

I thought paying invoice was a good deal. Can I get it less than what the dealers invoice is? I'm also not paying msrp for any accessories. It looked to me like a little over 37k for everything including shopping and fees was pretty fair considering the 2018s are more expensive. Thanks!
