Well when dealer called me and said they had one coming if I wanted to put deposit down. I went in and it had these adds that he said I can change those are added at port. One was locking tail gate. I kept it. One was predator steps and I canceled those. One was protective paint and stuff and I canceled that. One was led lights in bed and I kept that. And last was blackout pkg. The way I red it was it had blackened tail lights and head lights like the pro is what I gathered and the chrome strips around hood were black and not chrome I believe. Won't know till it arrives for sure but that is what I understood

Ah ok, I could be wrong, but I think everything else on that list is “port” or dealer installed, so I bet that is something just available in your region or dealer network added after its built in the factory. Interested to see what it is exactly when it comes.
I’d love to see “Pro” headlights come on more models, I’d think it would bring the price down and availability up for those of us who want to swap them in.

Hmmm. I turned down the blackout package cause of the price, but I'm curious now.
Anyone have any pics to check out?

My dealer told me blackout was just black tailgate lettering, black emblems, and the black exhaust tip.

Thought so. That's why I opted out of that $400.

The “black out” package you speak of sounds like a waste. You can get all those accessories for like $80.

Edit: I found TRD pro tails for $195/pair on eBay.

I'd love to see anyone on TW post a final sales sheet showing a price of $37.9k (good) or $36.7k (great) on a 17 TRD pro. No trade-ins, no 20% APR or $5K deposit, just a simple final sales price sans TTL of under $38k on new 17 pro. Anyone?

Edit: just checked carguru. The first like 5 cars listed as TRD pros arent pros. The cheapest actual pro for sale is $39.9K and it goes up to $45K. And these are all used trucks with up to 25k mi on the clock. Yeah, Im still calling BS on their site.

I'm guessing those eBay tail lights will leak and have condensation. Our MDX headlights are 700 oem.

I’ve had many of brands of tail lights and headlights over the years that have never leaked. I bought the oem lookalike 2nd gen rear led tails a couple years back for my 06 and visually you can’t tell the difference. They’re a heck of a lot cheaper. I understand wanting oem but I don’t see the big deal if you want pro lights and can’t see the difference except in your wallet.

Leaks and condensation seem like a big concern for people who buy lights but I’ve never had an issue. I may jump on these lookalike pro lights or just wait a couple years til they actually update them to led and then buy those clones for less than half.

It looks like my '18 TRD Pro will be built on 12/4 and on the build sheet it has TRD Air Filter for $90. What is the standard TRD Pro filter it comes with?

That is what I found out saw a 17 with it today at dealer. Still ok because emblems and tacama decal in back is black and exhaust tip. Guess I still will have to order tail lights and head lights.
