Good idea! I'm surprised they have it wide open like that. Being "confidential" and all.

I would take a grain of salt on those pricing either on the models themselves and the option/package codes. I've never seen a option/package code have varying pricing based on the model of the truck.

good example is the PQ option package with 4 different MSRP of the same package depending on which model code its attached to. the cost of the package doesn't change regardless of which model its on. look at any other vehicle on Toyota's lineup and you can see the option cost doesn't change ie: LE/XLE/SR5/Limited/Platinum.

the pricing on the limited/pro models looks odd, especially the 7598 code, its the only model that went up $305 compared too the rest of the lineup that went from a low of $555 to $1205 price increase. about 75-80% of the models went up $955.

also to add, the pricing list I put in the master thread, all the 2018 model pricing matches the Toyota website.

I think what we are seeing with the package codes does make sense at least for the off road premium package. With the manual you cannot get JBL or keyless entry so it should be cheaper than the automatic with JBL, push start and keyless entry. With the Access Cab you do not get leather interior so it should also be cheaper.
I attached the PQ Sport Package which is similar to the off road package. The prices are tiered based on what is included. Why should someone with an access cab manual pay the same as someone with a double cab auto? The package name is the same but what is included is not. For 2017 the Non JBL Off Road Premium and Technology Package is cheaper than the JBL version.

    Models:
7559 (Manual) and 7560 (Auto) are Access Cab
7542 (Auto), 7543 (Manual), 7566 (Auto Long Bed) are Double Cab

So does this mean we can start negotiating detailed pricing with the dealers? Do these detailed options costs now show up in their computer systems? Anyone have invoice or dealer cost info yet?

I can't wait to start blasting out emails to a bunch of dealers for price negotiations on a 2018.

so you are telling me the PQ package has a different costs of bits and pieces depending on model ? so if the package has 20 parts (as you show above) that make up the PQ package and it cost 570 on one model and cost 2735 on another model, why would anyone pay 2735 for the same features for 570?

    ie :

the 7128 model the PQ cost 570 for a TRD Sport 4x2 access cab
the 7172 model the PQ cost 2735 for a TRD Sport 4x2 double cab long bed

They both do not get the same parts. The access cab does not get nearly the same number of parts as the double cab and the manual versions get less than the automatic versions.

7128 compared to 7172: no sunroof, no JBL Audio system, No leather interior, No color key rear bumper. So yes, $2375 for sunroof, leather interior and JBL system compared to $570 without those options.

trust me, not one manufacturer will charge variable pricing and an option or package based on a model. even the domestics don't even do this.
