I'm 50/50 on the grille. I need to see it on a black/darker exterior color and in person to make a final judgment.

However I was never fan of the chrome grille on the TRD. So I'm glad they at least made that change.

Our 2016/2017 grilles look better than that. This has to be the worst I've seen. That radiator will take a beating going down highways during winters here.

I agree, but they all suck as far as protection. It is usually your condensor that gets impacted. What I do is i attach fine wire mesh to the inside of the grill. Catches all the bugs and gravel. I have done it on Tundras, 4runners, Fjs and Tacos and they all look damage free after years on the road.

Looks like it's got multiple bottle openers built in.

The good news about Cement being a common pool color is that I no longer have to worry about not scuffing up my fenders, I can just get a new one.

Already have some scratches out of nowhere.

Yeah I think it hides it well enough. I came from a silver 2nd gen to this Cement 3rd gen and I'd say they're about the same.

They should've at least put a bar across the logo to balance the grille out

Come to Butt-Head.. Crappy grill or not, if I start losing sleep over it - I'll just get a Pro grill. Problem solved.

Wait, are these tail lights in fact new or just a carry over? They look the same to me!

It doesn't seem like this grill will protect much. Unless you're a bug bigger than a humming bird, it's radiator city for you.

I saw the TRD Pro 4runner in person in that color and I personally liked it.
