This should help. After uninstalling and installing so many times, I eventually just left out some of the screws on purpose, like the two above that hold the black bezel to the top part of the dash. Here ya go:

Btw, you don't need to take out the steering wheel, or the glove box...

You can buy bulbs from the auto parts. I did at first, wayyyy too expensive and don't look nearly as good as the LED's. I bought blue tinted bulbs at first for $3.50 for two. I bought like 8 LED's off of ebay for the same price.

Just clear halogen bulbs? Because in that case, all you'd have to do is just disassmble and then take the orange "condom" off of the bulbs. They're on all of them. And you have semi-clear (slightly yellow) lights. You can get the same led's that I got from the same guy on ebay. He has the same bulb style in white as well.

Otherwise, I would go to walmart and buy the clear bulbs. Advance thinks a lot of their stuff, and most of the time it isn't worth crap.

After you disassemble the whole dash, you then have to take out the white "box". That is the A/C Control panel. You have to take out the 4-5 gold screws on the back of it to open it up to access the lights. Make sure you don't undo the strip that runs the whole panel. Turn the red light holders and then pull them out. Then you've got to unwrap the wire, but make sure you remember how it was wrapped, because you'll need to know when you install the led's later. Take the bulbs out, put the led's in, and wrap the led wires around the red base, and then reassemble.

    Here's a great instruction piece:

Ok mine is a little bit different since I have a 2000 model. The bulbs just push in, instead of a twist in style that was shown in the link. Ill upload a pic of what the bulb looks like.

Wow!!! Im sure there is a bulb that fits out there somewhere. But just done a search on google and it seems like this is a bulb from hell!! No one seems to be able to find the exact one that fits just right. There is like three or four different style bulbs that people say it could be. But if and when I find the ones that will fit I will definitely be changing them all to led's.

I noticed in one of the pics, somebody has the transmission gear selections illuminated. My '03 has never been illuminated and figured that is just how it is. So is there a bulb that should be under there ? All mine are the stock orange, I don't mind that at all, just if there's one in the selector, I want it to burn too. If so, how do you take it apart and where is the bulb at ?

K&N intake. That is all. For now...
When I got my 03 DC it had a light burnt out behind the tach. I pulled the cluster to replace the bulb and decided to remove all the light condoms at the same time. Right now my lights are a dirty yellow. I plan on getting some LED bulbs in white soon. :D

Oh and my dash is grey. Much better than tan IMHO.

When I get the chance today, I'll post some pics to show you how and where it is. It's actually one of the easiest parts in the truck to disassemble. :D

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

You cant change the color of the clock unless there is another cover for it i have the whole clock ripped apart and found that it's the cover not the bulb that make's it that color. The clock itself is white with a greenish tint.

x2, I think the "lens" is tinted so the only way to change the clock color would be to remove that tint.

Flickering? Do you have them housed in all the way so that they're making a good connection? Because other than that they shouldn't do that. Is it when you go across a bump?
