I don't know. I bought mine from a guy on ebay, and well, I haven't had any problems. I bought the cheapest ones there too. I posted a link earlier to where as I got them.

    Voted.

I'm a greenie, well... amber bulbs with the green sox on them.
As for my guage cluster, i have the Indiglo overlays which give me a choice of green or blue.

They short out a lot, but I just received a replacement in the mail this weekend. I'm going with the "Reverse Indiglo" gauges this time.

Pics to come, don't have them on me or hosted yet.

Stuck with the orange for now! I really like the look of the green on the earlier tacos...just wish that I had the patience to pull my dash apart with out breaking some little clip...

It's really not as difficult as it seems. You shouldn't break anything. But, I wouldn't suggest doing it in the midst of winter. The cold weather does some unpleasant things to the plastics. Wait till spring and the plastic will flex with no problem at all!

The OP needs to revise the poll.
Orange was stock until December 2010 built trucks.
Then white became stock. So the poll should reflect Orange and white as stock.

I don't really want to sound like a jerk, but this post is inside the 1st gen Tacoma discussion area. So therefore the amber orange would be stock.

Thanks for the topic guy ! My "D" (drive) just went out(blown). When I put in "D"nothing is lit up. I kept reminding myself that it's in drive mode. Is it easy to replace the light for that"D" ? Thanks

Oh yeah! It's real simple. But I suggest taking out the whole console out because if you just try taking out the front two cup holders, the plastic pieces that overlap are likely to break. There are two bolts on the inside of the deep container and two on the back behind the seats. Take those out. Then take the two screws that are holding the two sets of cupholder together out. This should allow you to take out the back two cupholder along with the console easily. Next slip the other front two cup holders over the shifter. Fromthere I gunk there are 2 more screws which allow you to take the black cove piece off to to the the light. Take those out and install a new light!

my dash is white and my hvac controls are still orange. its annoying having to different colors. but tomorrow im going to change the dash to blue and the hvac to blue as well. only this that im worried about is that orange film on the back of the ac panel. hope that doesn't mess with the blue
