I know that the X-Runners have diminished towing ability. How much can your truck specifically tow?

3500lbs....so you can see I've maxed and passed it a couple times. I live in FL so no hills around here and I never went too far with the load. Having the TRD BBK and S/C really helped with stopping and pulling it...also how you adjust the weight in the trailer keeping most of the weight in the rear of it

My uncle had a 2002 Tacoma S-runner that he bought new, actually he special ordered. It was black with a gray interior and he owned it until at least 2006. Random question; Have you upgraded your sound system? I know Tacoma pickups didn't get AUX inputs until 2009 and my truck had an absolutely garbage sound system until 2013 when I replaced it with a Pioneer component system.

I've had plenty of hot girls in my Taco. Sadly none of them were drunk or ended up naked.

3 years ago, my ex-girlfriend farted in my Taco on the first date. Here I am, going out of my way to act like a perfect gentleman by not burping or farting, and she goes and does it. She tried very poorly to cover it up, but kind of gave it away when she started laughing. I asked her what was so funny. She said "nothing." She then rolled down the window. It was a warm day, and my girl didn't like having the windows down, so I had the windows up and the A/C on. I asked her again what was so funny and she admitted to farting. Then, the smell hit me. She pretty much cropdusted the whole cab of my truck and I rolled my window down to air the truck out. One SBD fart in a regular cab Taco with the windows rolled up, and the air-conditioner circulating the stench around...

    You can only imagine!

FYI She admitted that she had been snacking on prunes of all things and eaten way more than the recommended amount. That'll do it!

Also, I had my Pioneer stereo system installed shortly before I started dating this girl, and my friend who installed the stereo had to remove the door panels to install the speakers. For quite a while after the stereo was installed, the window cranks, in particular the passenger side one, were loose. I lost count of how many times the damn thing fell off. On one of our dates, she wound the window crank right off and thought she had broken it. I fixed it quickly and told her it was no big deal.

Oh, and here's another story involving the flatulent ex-girlfriend. This occurred in late 2014. She sprained her ankle and had to use crutches as a result. I took her and another friend to dinner at a local pizza place with the intention of planning another friend's surprise birthday party. With one overweight guy (me), one skinny guy (my friend), and one slightly overweight girl (the ex) crammed into a regular cab Taco, space is pretty tight. Just be glad nobody farted this time. I wound up having to put the crutches in the bed and they were sliding around during the drive to the pizza place.
