Are you running air-bags? With that at 1177lbs via their site, all your armor and a skinny driver, you must be close to 1000lb over gvwr…before considering tongue weight and towing. Drive safe and turn slow!

Probably my most unique haul. Got some weird looks when I went through the Taco Bell drive through.

The fucking douchebag down the street that hates dogs put a 12 foot effigy of a well known politician with a not-so-kid friendly statement on his bravado. Somehow a lasso got entangled on it and the tow hook and bits and pieces became distributed throughout the street.

    Towed, this modern art piece:

High mount center light wired to be illuminated all the time rather than as a brake light for visibility.

Frankly I'm kind of amazed I never got pulled over, towed this through 6 states.

It was however impossible to make a stop without getting asked by somebody "Just what in the hell is that?"

It's a '01 4Runner frame made easily portable but due to its dark color and low profile I did my best to as cheaply as possible make it visible for it's 1200 mile trip to it's new owner up north in the rust belt.

I was afraid somebody would either drive over it at a stop or change lanes into it if they couldn't see it.

No air bags. Using Deaver U402 Expedition Stage 3 leaf springs for 3 inch lift at 700-1000lbs constant bed weight (I don't care about lift, although I did just get some 32s so I could have e-range tires). I'm not sure where you get the 1177, were you looking at the Olympic? Yoho starts at 958. But yes, I'm sure I'm around that 1177+ with all my stuff loaded. This thing looks much larger, but with the previous build I had with the AT Habitat and the loaded swingout they are probably very similar in weight. I'd say the truck is squatting about the same. Losing the swingout (loaded) and tailgate that had to come off were prolly around 300lbs. Not condoning it, but I also have a friend running a Tacoma well over 7000lbs and he offroads it hard, and drives all over constantly with it and the truck has handled it well.

I'm not gonna deny this thing is heavy, but I do keep speed down (or else I get 8mpg) and always drive carefully with the trailer. In fact I tow the trailer so much I often drive the same way expecting the trailer to be on there when it isn't. I'm taking a trip, leaving tonight, driving from Washington to Utah. We'll see how it handles. I might see about installing a rear sway bar, but so far it feels ok.

    Drive safe - CHECK

    Turn slow - CHECK

Don't to trash the inside of the minivans and one of our employees who is from out of state and doesn't have his car with him is using the Dodge; I haven't gotten the training to drive the F450 yet...

By Pennsylvania law I'm allowed to drive it as it's well under 26K pounds, but company policy requires everybody to take our corporate training course in order to drive it; It's a crew cab with a much longer rear end than a standard F450 with a bed and if I drove it, it would easily qualify as the biggest vehicle I've ever driven...
