My trailer doesn’t sit level either.
I ‘m a little high in the front. Not too worried about. Depending on how you load the trailer, you can even it out.
What ever you do, don’t go heavy on the rear of the trailer. You’ll get sway and and less weight on the rear tires.

I just got off the phone with USAA and found out that as long as the trailer is attached the covered vehicle (my truck in this case), my collision/comprehensive policy extends to the trailer. It doesn't matter if it's a trailer I own, a rented trailer like UHAUL, or a borrowed one like the Ringo that I'm borrowing from work; I'm covered!

I absolutely refuse to buy a house with "2-story" or vaulted ceilings if the light fixtures require anything more than a step ladder to access. My dad is one of the vice presidents of the company I work for, and he needs the 17-foot ladder from the warehouse to change several lightbulbs in our foyer chandelier. The ladder will not fit in his Yukon, so...

I know a guy that used an A-Frame ladder like an extension ladder once.
It didn’t work out too well for him. The feet washed out on him and he busted up his shin pretty bad.
Just another one of life’s painful little lessons.

I would think investing in a Little Giant style ladder would be better long term, depending on the room of course

My insurance company will only cover the trailer while it's attached to my truck, and I'm not going to tow it to Pete's tomorrow morning when I go to get a new radiator put in the truck, so my boss let me bring the parking boot home with me...

    Funny you should mention that...

My friend bought a 2010 Subaru Forester with just under 120K miles from a shady buy here pay here lot in the fall of 2021. Thankfully, she bought the car outright and didn't owe anything on it, but the engine overheated and seized three weeks after she bought it. She uses the same mechanic as me, and he put an engine out of a totaled Forester in it. The engine overheated so severely that the radiator melted, and my mechanic didn't do a teardown but suspected a blown head gasket.

My friend's son loves tinkering with engines, and my mechanic let him have the engine to take apart; I used my Tacoma to haul the engine to their house, and a teardown very quickly confirmed what my mechanic had suspected. Once my friend's son had his fun with the engine, we loaded it back into my Tacoma and I scrapped it for some extra spending money.

Subarus man... That engine must've ran hot to melt a radiator :rofl:This was for my brother who threw a rod with 55k on his original engine. Stage 3 almost 400whp. Had to haul it a couple times so we could send the core back.
