It was pouring rain pretty much all day today, so I didn't get a pic of my first load, which included a nonfunctional Jenn-Air refrigerator. This older couple from Indiana has owned a house here in Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years, but has been renting it out for most of the time they have owned it. They are now in the process of sprucing it up after the last renters trashed it, and are putting it on the market this Friday; I answered an ad on Facebook Marketplace for the aforementioned refrigerator. I ended up with the Jenn-Air, a minifridge from 1986 that also no longer works, a microwave, a gas grill, two bed frames, and a UHAUL appliance dolly! This is from the second trip. The black handtruck and the magnet sweeper are mine...

The UHAUL dolly is in decent shape aside from needing a left wheel, so I am going to fix it and use it rather than scrapping it. Both big loads came from the house that was being sold, and it is located in Collegeville; I took @Stitchgirl90 to a job interview in Richboro, and she spotted yet another fridge sitting curbside like two tenths of a mile from the nursing home where she was applying; I picked that up too. So, by the time I took these pics, both larger refrigerators and the bed frames were back at @Gwyns04's house...

Best I remember, The U-Haul dollys are serial numbered, and never sold.
Point being, don't get caught with it. They will seize it.

I worked for a place that also rented U-hauls. The AFM (area field manager) would browser Craigslist and Market place all the time looking for "Stolen" stuff.
Car dollies and ramp trailer were the most common things he "repoed".
You had 2 options, give him the items or call the police. If the police were called, U-haul WILL press charges. They are like wal-mart.
Even the moving blankets were not sold. Not the ones that said, U-Haul. They sell moving blankets. Not the ones that say "U-haul" on it.

The only "legal" way to get those blankets were to rent them, and then NOT turn them back in. DO NOT DO THAT. They charge you like 2x the price of a "Non-Labeled" blanket.

So, it was in the garage when the homeowners came to fix the house up for sale after the renter moved out; I don't think they knew what it was. I was going to scrap it until I realized how durable it was...

It should definitely be able to handle central air-conditioners and kitchen appliances!

If it handle a 6.5 GMC diesel short block, it will handle an HVAC unit.

Hauled a Buffalo calf about 3 weeks ago.
They built a pretty cool crate for him that fit just fine in the back of my 2021 Tacoma.
I definitely wasn't the original choice for hauling him but shit happens and the old boy who was going to haul him broke an axle, didn't make bail or some such drama.
Didn't take any pictures because, well we haul weird stuff all the time out in these parts and he's just a little fella anyway.
And before anyone starts up with their supposed zoological expertise - the state song goes 'oh give me a home where the Buffalo roam'....there's no mention of bison.
    Just sayin'.

I went back to Collegeville this morning to pick up some more stuff that @Stitchgirl90 wanted. It is worth noting that the woman we got the stuff from thought I would need to rent a UHAUL to get all of this furniture in one trip...

@Gwyns04's niece is selling her house and giving me a whole bunch of stuff to scrap, including at least window A/C units and these aluminum pool chairs!
