    Welcome to Tacoma World!
The S Runner and the X Runner are the "Performance" or "Sport" versions of the Tacoma.
    SR5 Is a trim level.
    TRD has 2 option packages:
TRD Off Road has a locker, Bilstien shocks, power inverter, different seats, and 16" wheels with 31" tall tires
TRD Sport, has a Limited slip differential, Bilsien shocks, Power inverter, different seats, 17" wheels with 31" tall tires.
There are a few more differences, but I will let someone else chime in on those. :)

FWIW, the "SR5" used to mean "Sport, Rally, 5 speed transmision". Since then, it has been used to describe an option package haveing nothing to do with the "Sport/Rally" terms.
