    285/75-R16 vs 305/70-R16

Why have 2 tire sizes if they're practically identical? Are some of those only made in MT vs the other only available in AT? Whats up with that? They're an inch taller than my 265/75-R16, and I have 0 rub issues. Would they fit my truck? I havent done a CMC or anything.

Look at the clearance between your present tire and the upper suspension. It’s probably .5” or a bit less.

The 305’s won’t work on stock wheels with .785” additional width on each side.
