What's The Differences Between '13 and '14 Entune w/JBL Radio's?

I guess back on topic, I don't have any problems with mine. Was just wondering if it's a better screen. I found that the '14 has facebook where the '13 does not. Don't use facebook anyways so doesn't bother me.

Yeah, even it it had a better screen I'm not really sure it would be worth the price to upgrade. At least not for me. I know some say they hate the Nav on the 13 but (so far) I've had no issues with it.

 

Anybody tried to update the NAV system yet? I took mine to the dealer (they ordered the CD), waited 4 hours (!), and they said they tried twice and couldn't get it to update. Haven't tried again.

 

Not me. I assume I've got the latest version since it's brand new.

 

I've had mine since Sept '12 and haven't either. Don't want to pay for it. I have a TomTom anyways that I get lifetime map updates.

 

I guess since we are talking radio, I'm sure you all know there is a update to 3.2. Did it last night.

 

I finally did this the other day, as well. I was wondering if it only fixed some glitches (which I never experienced) or if it also updated the nav maps? Anyone know?

 

No update to the maps. Just system software.

 

I've updated the system once through my phone/data plan. The maps is another deal entirely where the dealer has to update the system with their CD/DVD. It's stupid expensive, but living in Dallas I like the nav system. There's always a new road being built and I'd like to be current. We have an unbelievable amount of construction on almost every highway these days.

Same here. In my wifes H3 GM just sent us the CD's every couple of years for free. They stop after about 2 cd's (3 counting the one already installed at purchase) or 4 years or so. I wasn't aware this one used one.

 

Why don't the auto manf's just contract with Google and use their data? Sometimes I plug my phone in, turn on Google Maps, and just let that system navigate me over the speakers. Google seems to be very current in my area.
