My 95 2.4L pulled tandem axle u-haul trailer with everything I own 2,200 miles. Defiantly wasn't ideal but it got the job done, and safely.

My 2004 3.4 5sp towed my 2002 parts truck on a 16ft beavertail. Had to hit 2nd to make it up big hills and definitely didn't do my brakes any favors.

I was just guessing. Still, 3000 lbs behind a 2.7 over Teton Pass? Quite an achievement. About 3 months ago I drove from Rock Springs, WY to Great Falls, MT. We went over Teton Pass. It's not just Teton Pass, it's everything around it leading to it that would make towing 3000lbs behind a 2.7 a nightmare. I didn't do it in my Taco and wouldn't want to empty and towing nothing. It was 1000 miles round trip in one day. There were two of us driving. That trip would have taken far more time in an empty Taco with nothing behind it.

OMG. I can't believe what you people do to you're trucks. I wouldn't even think of it with mine. If nothing else, the Tacoma is VERY durable. It's no wonder they last 300,000+ miles when just driven as a DD or with light loads.

As a surprise for my wife, I bought a 22ft travel trailer. The camper looked smaller in the picture in the ad. The truck is a 3.4L auto with issues.

I think it has a dry weight of around 3600lbs. But the trip was 35 to 40 miles of long descents and ascents. I found myself reaching speeds of 75mph downhill just to maintain 45mph uphill. It was nerve wracking to say the least.

My wife ran out and bought a 2012 Z71 as a result of the purchase. Oops.

That would have been awesome to see!
As soon as I saw the supercharger I was like this person has to be on TW. Then I recognized the picture with the trailer!

Really cool man! Not many people can say their vehicle has been featured on a YouTube program.
    Great work!

Will they eat the rice uncooked? Or do you have to soak it first?

Uncooked, I have a friend that runs a rice mill and lets me have the cracked rice. They can't market the cracked except like to us for feed use. I feed baking soda free choice in case of bloat they will self medicate lol. You raise sheep?

Have some land but no livestock. Was just curious because it seems like rice would be more expensive than corn or soy.

It would be if he could use it but it is a waste so to speak for him so the 1200 lb. bags are costing me 50.00 a bag right now.

In 2008 I towed two separate 1953 Bentleys weighing 4200 lbs on a trailer weighing 1500 lbs! Now, let me qualify that - the first one I towed only on flat level ground at no more than 20 mph for three miles. The second I towed all the way from Paradise, California to Portland, Oregon - but - the Bentley was entirely disassembled and it took me three trips. Up Interstate 5 past Mt. Shasta, through the Siskiyou Mountains. My Tacoma now has just shy of 500,000 miles and is still going strong.
