Prob 15-20 miles driving around dirt forest roads. Went to hollister yesterday, not much more than a few miles, but I was pretty damn tired by the time I got home. A 90 mile drive home and a newborn played into my sleepiness though. I'd DEF be sleeping well after 130-140. One beer at the campfire and goodnight

20 miles on a decent fire road can leave you exhausted, not even taking into consideration the 90 extra miles just going to & from, & with a baby too?? Holy shit I'd sleep for 2 days (except little one's wont allow that)

Once we did about 150-175 miles driving from El Paso, Texas to Cloudcroft, New Mexico through all off road, camped overnight, did another 25-30 miles of day trails the following day, then finally at night just hoped on the highway and headed back home.

I'd say thats about the average for most, here in San Diego we have Corral Canyon OHV park & if you do just the outer TDS loop, its roughly 35 miles...

You guys ever notice WHAT kind of tired you are ? Meaning I've noticed that when I'm just going down good/not too rutted/fast fire roads or out in the desert shooting thru washes at speed for awhile I'm physically tired, but if I'm doing rated trails (the slow shit) for just a few miles but it takes 4 hours to go thru it I'm mentally exhausted, not physically...

Baby (3 week old) wasn't with, but was certainly waiting for me at home. He was rather inconsiderate to my sleep desires  I got about 2 hours at a time instead of two days.

Yesterday was a fairly technical trail (for me anyway), and I was def physically and mentally tired. While I very much enjoyed it, I breathed a fairly large sigh of relief to reach the easy part without any damage besides a few trail stripes

Too poor to list anything interesting.
60 miles. It was slow, but fun. There were a lot of stops for photos and generally goofing off.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I frequently take the dirt roads back from my volunteer position in unincorporated Spokane, about 13 miles for two to three days out of the week. It is more fun and gives me a chance to cool off after leading and walking with horses.

Yeah it's dirt. Couple more. Same day same trip. This was all over Memorial Day weekend a few years ago. We covered over 1100 miles (900+ of it all on dirt) starting at 4 Corners in NM and travelling diagonal NW across Utah and ending at City of Rocks in Southern Idaho.

Adam, that trip is inspirational. :D
I've probably done 100-ish, that number should go up in a few weeks though.

Seeing that I only get 220-230 miles per tank. I prefer short trips with gas stations always in close range.
