All jokes aside some of the best wheeling I’ve ever done was on stock tires on stock vehicles... I’d gander 99% of all the bullshit offered is fluff and adds about nothing to the trucks actual ability if in fact it doesn’t hinder it i.e big heavy ass tires. I know my truck was just as worthy off road pre lift and tires if not more...essentially it was all about aesthetics, now I look so cool driving down perfectly paved roads with a 6” lift and 35” mud tires (soon to be 37s) :muscleflexing: :D

Wheeling on 33s has been the most fun I've had, but I can't wait to crawl some more rocks on my new 315s

It's like anything, the elite track athletes need at extra tenth of an ounce from their shoes to possibly eek out an edge, but some soccer mom running on the weekends? She probably doesn't need the same shoes. Same with tires. At the high level, they matter. From the run of the mill Wheeling, most tires will suffice.

There's not many of us in the club. The funny thing is I broke mine on 33's. I also bent the ADD tube. This all happened about 5 miles into the Dusy. It cost me 3 CV's on the passenger side. I rolled the whole diff about an inch out of level. Higher side being the passenger. So that effectively gave me an extra inch of droop on that side. Not good. I snapped the final one towards the end of the trail and limped out in 2wd lo/lo. I'll never forget that trip. Luckily all my buddies where having to much fun laughing at my misfortune to get pissed. lol

dagum. Funny 'cause mine was on 33s as well. It was at Wolf Caves, which can be best described as the hardest wheeling in Texas but the rock is like sandpaper. I had an Aussie up front and that trip just completely destroyed my front end. Ended up trailering it out after a shit ton of work to get it to the front gate.

CV count currently sits at 13, with 2 sets of spider gears one completely grenaded diff (couldn't even tell what broke first, everything was just sheered to shit)

And i'm not a skinny pedal guy
