Yes this. I don't understand why luxury and cool tech has to = huge. Why is it that every single car company's vehicles get more luxurious as they get larger? Just look at BMW 2 series = tiny and not very fancy 7 series = huge and luxurious as hell. Same with Mercedes C class tiny and not that luxurious S class huge and decked out. If I was in the market for a luxury car I would want a tiny car that is also well built and luxurious.

Does the scoop on the sport actually do anything? My salesman tried to tell me it is functional but I didn't believe him.

    No regrets!

Except the chrome mirror covers, so I changed them.

I have a sport, the decision was pretty simple for me. 17" wheels, less body roll because it has larger sway bar, hood scoop, chrome free, and I don't take my truck off roading so why would I care about locking diff or crawl control? My 2004 Tacoma had locking diff and I never used it.

Yes it does! Reports are that it helps prevent hood separation that had been reported on non-skooped models (vis-a-vis being a bolt together point in the middle)

Increased engine performance or cooling? Not so much.

I personally love the limiteds. I was real close to buying one because there were no OF with premium and techs available in Florida. I had multiple dealers looking for me to no avail. Finally, Mike Erdman brought one in for me from NC, otherwise I'd be in a Limited.

I love my Limited, I didn't need a fake hood scoop and I like the bigger rims, plus I don't really like the grill on the Sport.I don't think they over did it with the chrome,it's just the sideview mirrors and the door handles are only half chrome, I have no regrets! Long live the Limited! lol

Limited trim exists as a litmus test for Toyota Corp to determine how much Truck they need to breed out of an actual truck in order to make it a truck shaped Camry. Depending on sales, we may see the refresh come with pleated pants, 6 more cup holders, and climate controlled power entry, where a robotic arm scoops you (and your entire family) into the truck. Mind link function does away with the labor intensive act of turning knobs, and ushers in the introduction of 3rd row seating.

You can now get pretty much the same amount of luxury in a Sport as you can in a Limited now, so does this apply to the Sport too? I don't see why, when your paying upwards of $40,000 for a small truck, that you can't have some luxury options in it! Having a little luxury options in a truck doesn't make it less of a truck! This kind of thinking is what auto manufacturers like,it gives them the ok to give you less and keep it more basic, because it's a truck, while continuing to raise the price and charge you more! Maybe I'm missing something, but aside from the suspension and maybe exhaust and the fake hood scoop, what makes the sport so much better than the Limited? Everyone keeps saying they hate all the chrome on the Limited, the only things that are chrome are the sideview mirrors and 50 percent of the door handles,it's really not that much chrome!
