Took my 2022 out offroading day I got it and put pinstripes in it nothing crazy. Sold my 22 and got a 23 with 4 miles on it and more pinstripes and put a big old dent in the muffler tube under the truck. Now I see why everyone does a re-route of that pipe. My black 2023 truck looks 6 years old and scratched and beaten to hell from just two off-road trips with about 1900 on the odo right now lol

Ummmm, take it where branches don't scratch you up?...
Or live with it and don't give a crap, which a lot do.

My wife rags on me for keeping my 2021 in showroom condition, says she prefers it
dirty and dusty. It gets plenty dusty and dirty but when I know I'm gonna be street
driving for a while I shine it up..... you gotta wear shades just to look at it.

I don't like that crossover exhaust tube that Toyota hung below the cross member.
Why would an engineer design it like that?

I don’t think OP is worried about it. I’m with your wife. I polish my luxury SUV but my truck is a truck and I treat it like such, ain’t no one got time to make that thing shine.

The exhaust reroute is cheap and easy. Highly recommend.

    4 run, 2 don't
Dude I know bought an $80k Larame 3500, and before driving it off just knicked it hard with his spurs just to "get the first one out of the way"

Someone else that I took off road with me (his first time) had a new 3rd Gen still on the temp tags; got tons of pin stripes that day

Y'all being worried about a cheap truck is hilarious

Scratched the paint on my rear plastic bumper. Replaced it with a steel bumper pronto.

Back in 2009 I bought my 2010 OR. 3 days new, a Rav4 backed into the left back fender and bumper. The nice elderly couple waited until I came out and confessed. We laughed together how my truck didn’t even have 200 miles. They had good insurance and I got it fixed and that was the first of 4 times it’s been hit and repaired.

Because I took the opportunity as "unplanned upgrades" rather than just fix what's broken, the repair costs ballooned to around $4600 and counting.

I genuinely try not to fart in customers vehicles. There was a rumour a long time ago someone got fired over it, and for some reason it just stuck for me.

    I'd 100% fart in OP's truck though

I feel like I'm the crazy one in saying... there's a middle ground. Trucks are for truck stuff, but also, damn dude, take care of your toys. A ding or an occasional scratch = truck stuff. Pinstriped and beat like it was sacrificial rolling stock in the Blues Brothers = I'm going to assume that the drivetrain matches the curtains.

Trees are for driving around - not through.

You need to get into a Lexus with ventilated seats i.e. electronic dispersal system.
