So Idaho has 80mph speed limits on the freeway, and that equals lots of wind noise. What are the best options for cutting that down?

I've added wind deflectors to the windows thinking that may help, though I didn't see much reduction.

I've also heard of adding additional glue to the weather stripping can help. Anyone have a link to the right glue?

    Any other ideas?

Your options are limited I think. This is a noisy truck no matter what you do to it.

Take it to the dealer, there’s a TSB (Toyota Service Bulletin) out for new door seals that don’t seal properly.

I also used 1/4 inch closed cell foam on top of the mat.

Sorry, not talking the whistle sound, just general wind noise. Sounds like not a lot of options out there...

Are you talking about when the windows are down? If so, try putting them up and just opening the rear slider. I really enjoy it that way on the highway.

If you are talking about the windows up, then I am a bit confused as it is about as quiet as our Forester.

I had an '08 Tacoma before this one, and it was just as loud. I just wasn't living anywhere with 80mph speed limits... Why the shade?

I have an a-cab and the wind and rear tire noise piss me off. I wonder if the d-cab is quieter? Was R andD told to ignore these things? Wouldn't it be great if we could make some of the money we paid have problems? That would be a real guaranty.

Windows up. Just a lot of noise breaking through the wind on the freeway.
