Just wondering what the weirdest/off the wall thing you have/keep in your truck is.

I myself have more stressballs than I have hands, a DVD of Austin Powers: Goldmember (for when I need something to watch), and a paper road atlas (for when society collapses?)

Some would say my roll of TP is weird, but to me, sometimes you gotta go and some nice soft TP is far superior to a handful of leaves.

I see nothing weird about that. I have some shop paper towels if it comes down to that.

Four year old bottle of claritan, never through it away. Plus I take solace in the fact that, if I accidentally forget to lock my truck and somone gets in there and rummages around, all they find is claritan.

I should have added that I don't really use allergy meds, bought the claritin when something was triggering my allergies. You had to be there.

    I'll list what's in my truck, and you can call it weird or not;

Glove box I have registration, insurance (both current), and a small box of fuses with fuse puller

Center console (bottom one) I have a first aid kit that contains - small and medium band aids, anti septic toilettes (2-3 different kinds), 2x sterilized gauze, tweezers. Also have a few claritan non-drowsy pills, emergency bivvy, toilet paper, waterproof matches, LED flash light, road flare, and 2 glow sticks.

Center console (top one) I have hand sanitizer, OBD2 code reader, tons of change, and extra USB cables for charging stuff

Rear floor storage (access cab) I have 4 ratchet straps, ARB snatch strap, 2 D-ring's, hitch sleeve/recovery

Rear floor storage (second one) poncho

Behind passenger seat (small flap) plastic coated steel cable (the type for tying a dog with), ARB recovery damper

Behind driver seat (floor) small craftsmen tool bag with my Power Tank, coiled hose and Power Tank digital inflator, and shovel

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I can't confirm since I left the truck at home today.

Bags of dog poo until I could get someplace to throw them away. We were camping and I clean up after them.

    I will add this -

About 3 months ago I actually had to use a flare, my snatch strap, recovery damper, and LED flash light. I live outside the city, in the middle of nowhere, and on my way home from work I came across a Ford Focus that had driven into a ditch (no guardrails). Well I ended up helping them out and using what I had really made things easier. These 2 guys were outside using up their phone battery trying to use what I'd call a poor excuse of a flash light.

This last Wednesday, I got my Power Tank refilled, and on the way to go to eat I saw someone on the side of the road waving their arms. I pulled over to offer some help and the guy asked if I could take him with his spare tire to a gas station; apparently it was flat when he swapped it for his bad tire. Well, I got to use my tank and filled his tire up.

I don't expect to have to fill anyone's tires again anytime soon, but small things like a flash light or flare really come in handy.

I don't know if it is weird or not but I have an SOG Tomahawk in my truck. It is bad ass. It has come in handy a few times too. Cut the head off of a copperhead once while fishing. Got us out of tight on a dirt road too once when we came across a fallen tree over the road. Small tree of course.
