What's this for...

On my 2020 Taco SR - can't determine what this 'heater'? Button is for. Can't find it in the manuel...thanks for your help

New feature with Alexa-enabled trucks: starts your microwave to begin cooking bacon.

 

OMG! Duh! I didn't see the heater symbol on the mirrors and thought it didn't have that option. Thanks to all.

 

I wondered the same thing about a month ago, it took me a while of flipping through the manual to find it. Neat feature, haven't used it in Florida yet. Maybe if the conditions are right for condensation to fog up the mirror I'll get to try it out.

 

Yep, the bacon frying button is for the mirrors.

 

On the back of the side door mirrors are small connectors for wires and the back of the mirror has wire lines through it like a spiral and when you push the button, it heats the wire defrosting the mirror. On cold days you can see the pattern of the wire.

 

C'mon! Bacon fryer was right there!

Doing good here brother. At the dentist right now. Not sure how to do this with a mask. Might have to paper bag it over the head with a hole in it

 

Dude another friend of mine just got to the dentist too . Weird.

I think they shove a dental dam in you and stuff cotton swabs in there lol

 

LOL! I thought it was a 'hand' on the button and it was to heat the steering wheel - no such luck! But useful when it snows!! (in fact, got a dusting this morning - New Mexico)

 

I'm envious! I miss the snow. It's 95 degrees here, and sucks the life out of you the second you step outside if you're not in the shade. lol
