So I gave an '18 sport DCSB that I just had the wheelers offroad bilstein 6112/5160 kit installed. New leaf spring, bump stops, u bolt flip, UCA for a little more indo.

    1. What the hell is this part and why was it taken off during install? I got all my old stuff back from them and this was in the pile. 20210609_183250.jpg 20210609_183246.jpg 20210609_183250.jpg

    2. While out running sandy 2 tracks what's the best way to clean all the sand out of the window tracks? They sound like hell rolling them up... I know I can keep the windows closed and run AC, but haven't, been since in my mind it just taxes the engine even more. Any secrets or tips for this? Just keep my dam windows closed?

    3. What's the best grease for using in my new UCA? I have plenty of wheel bearing grease and so forth for my boat trailers.

    4. When using the S and running up hills in first or second gear it's like I have limited power. I can climb at the same rate whether quarter throttle or full throttle. Shouldn't more pedal be more rpm? This one really confuses me along with number 1...

    Thanks all!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, that's not part of your truck. I've installed a few lifts and have never encountered a part that looks like that. Probably from another vehicle and was in the scrap pile with your parts, until you asked for them back.

#3 what UCA's do you have? If you have poly bushings, you want a silicon based lube, like Super Lube. For a uniball, tri-flow. For a ball joint, moly-blend grease.

Edit: follow manufacturers recommendations... they all have recommendations.

#4 sounds like a traction control issue. Turn off all of the nannies and give it the beans.

Trac is off with a long press. It's fine on flat land in S mode. Not so much uphill. I haven't tried just auto yet since a tune. I may have to try that.
