What's this spark plug telling me?

Some cylinders take more time to build up compression usually due to normal wear; although like Lefthook mentioned this could be an indication of problems/leaks versus other cylinders. And without your foot on the gas pedal, the butterfly valve on the throttle body is closed, which limits the amount of air (and as a result, compression) the cylinders can produce.

Those numbers look good to me.

So what can I do to help keep or make the pistons & cylinders happy?
I was going to do a seafoam type thing through the pvc valve. Something I have never done & after seeing all the carbon buildup in the IAC, I imagine that’s not the only place it resides.

Also, what to make if the gas in the oil & lean conditions?

I did order some valve cover & spark plug gaskets.

The readings look good to me also. Put it back together and drive it the way that it is. If you feel any major problem, tackle that if needed. Drive it and give it a chance. You cleaned the IAC, hopefully have spark plugs nice and tight to torque spec and the crush washer is sealing. Remember, when you go to the doctor, he gives you medicine and will see if there is an improvement. He usually won't throw 5 medicines at you to see what heals you. It is better to do one step at a time. Do not do 5 things at once because you will never know what may have fixed the problem if it should happen again. Remember- diagnose like a MD.

I hear you. I just have neglected the truck for so long. A lot of it due to ignorance. Not an excuse. Simply fact. So there are many things I am sure I have not done as a routine type preventative engine type thing beyond spark plugs, oil, atf, gear oil.... I mean little by little I am picking up on things on TW. Hoses, IAC.... I just don’t want to wait for a problem to get me to the learning. I am not really the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it type”, especially if by some simple, or even not so simple, maintenance you can help it not get to the broke point.

I really would encourage to do the BF fuel injector treatment by a reputable garage for the carbon buildup......I did everything up to that, but after seeing how dirty the “other side of the throttle body was, I did it.....
When the dealer cleans the throttle body, they only clean one side by they don’t want to take it off.

I did a search for BF fuel injector treatment & not much came up. Did you mean BG? & if so, why didn't you do it yourself?

    Yes BG, thanks
I let the garage do it for 2 reasons........1) it’s delivered under pressure 2) for the cost @$125, not worth the messy cleanup and professionally done.....
Will probably do it for my BMW M2, the dealer wants $375 for doing the same things.....

I’m sure there’s a DIY BG treatment, think I saw videos on it, that less expensive, you can try that too and get some if not all the carbon gone, BUT I wanted the FULL effect.
