    Yo,

Hailing from the heart of it all(Ohio), now been in Oregon for a little over 10 years now. Used to have a 2000 Jeep XJ, now I have a 2000 Tacoma Sr5. Still a Jeep guy, but also a Toyota guy. I've always viewed this place as a great resource, so I decided to start participating. Not much of a show off, but I'll try. DIY for life.

    Cheers!

How would you compare the 2 different platforms? On the road, which one rides better?

The Jeep certainly had a bit more transfer from the road to the cab, being a unibody construction and the short arm 4.5 lift I installed probably should have been a long arm. In terms of off-road capabilities I do enjoy the Solid axle with quick disconnects for River access points as I'm a whitewater enthusiast. I would say motor wise the 4.0l vs. the 3.4l is a draw, my tacoma though is much better for long haul trips where pavement is the way to get to the dirt. Off-road I would still prefer the jeep, but for a daily driver you can not beat the COMA!

Check the "Outdoor" forum and there are state-specific forums. You might find those waters better for such fishing.
