Tinting the whole truck including the windshield makes a world of a difference. Just saying

Mine works fucking amazing, the truck cools down in a matter of minutes.

My windows are also tinted, that helps tremendously.

    70*F is COLD

As an HVAC guy I agree with everything you said. Some Yahoo adding charge to a sealed system is a great way to fuck some shit up. 100% guarantee non-condensibles are getting pumped in as well. You gotta know what you are doing, where you are at, and where you wanna go. We won't mention figuring out the how tos of it.

Any time my AC is on, I have it on Lo. Like others mentioned it gets cold... but when it's over 90 and the sun is coming in, it takes a few minutes.

Yep, you never want to crack into the HVAC unless absolutely necessary.

Mine had to have the evaporator and condenser replaced, due to a front end collision - however, the dealer replaced everything and completely discharged the system and all oil and replaced with new stuff. As stated above, my A/C is COLD.

My truck doesn't have trans issues either...guess I got lucky.

Make sure your ac is on the right setting and not on defrost or anything. Also the recirculate option helps a lot too. If it's still bad then maybe something is wrong, get it done under warranty as it should be. AC works great here in Florida

Don't know about that but I would say think about the trucks in Alaska . I am sure those people rarely use their AC

    1 go to dealer
    2 tell them your concern
3 ask if they will perform evac&recharge

Any tech. that isn't a total ass hat should write down how much was recovered vs how much the system holds. They sould pull a deep vacuum on the system and add a small amount of dye. Charge it back up and return your truck after checking for proper temp. Then go from there.

In fact mine blows so cold I have to have the vent closest to my right had positioned perfectly as to not give me frost bite lol. But I do aim all of mine at the ceiling shooting towards the rear. It blows too cold and I’m in Louisiana.

I have a 2018 OR and it's damn near Arctic! Usually have to point them away it gets so cold. Sounds silly, but you did press the A/C button right? If not pressed it will just blow warm cabin air

Thanks for checking this. I would check mine but somehow of all things its only 75F today after being in the mid 90s for several days. I'd rather test mine out on a hotter, more humid day when the AC doesn't feel as ice cold.

Thanks, I'm also an AC tech and it's one of my pet peeves that someone thinks buying a can of refrigerant is going to solve there ac issues. In Canada refrigerant is strictly controlled and it's illegal to sell "top up" cans. Techs must be have an ozone depletion licence to work on an AC system.
