All this talk about passengers using blankets, lol. Any opinion on the "dual climate" option in the Premium trim package... any good? Do you find it useful? On one hand it seems like overkill, but then again I tend to run hot myself and... my wife is typically freezing when I've got the AC where I want it.

Dual zone is amazing. Short drives you can bear with it but on longer drives dual zone really shines.

Awesome, it was a big part of the reason I decided to shell out for the premium package. Really looking forward to using this vehicle on long trips. Ordering my truck this week, hopefully!

Don't have dual zones on my Taco, but my wife's Avalon has it. I was skeptical because really, you're sitting 1 maybe 2 feet apart and how could that make so much of a difference. Well it does, we're both comfortable with our individual settings. The only kicker is the person in the sun has to kick it up to compensate for their steaming arm.

I do wish we had dual zone climate control. I like the manual adjustment, but it should have a zone for the passenger. Also, like others have said, the AC gets so cold that I have to tone it down a little because my hands will start freezing lol. Once I get the truck cooled down, I usually have the temp set at about 30% from the coldest setting and low fan.

I like the dual zone in my truck but rarely have a passenger that selects a different temp from mine.

My blower motor just went out. It's on national backorder. I only get air on setting 1. Supposed to be a week before the part can get here.

Window tint will take care of that. I will never own a vehicle without window tint - it is a must have to block out the UV and heat from the sun.

At the dealer now. First off, they at least identified that my ac is not working per design. So thats good. The only issue they found was a “pinched O ring”. They are replacing it and recharging the system. They are also going to add dye. Hope it was that simple. I’m skeptical. But that’s just me.

Did this fix your AC? I brought mine in last friday for blowing cool but not cold. It always blew cold air. They said nope it works great...took it to the mountains with 73 degree air temp and truck ran hot... they vacuumed the system and did NOT even recharge or dye the system.

Yes it did. Since then it’s been working great. I took it in recently for the TSS update and they checked it over with a UV light and found nothing. I didn’t ask they just checked since I had not brought it in since they worked on it in June 2018.

When I use recirculate mode my cab gets incredibly moist...this may be a different issue.

Agreed. Ceramic tint with IR rejection really does work. My wife never wants to tint her vehicles, despite the huge difference in how hot her car gets compared to mine when sat out in the sun. Of course it works while actually driving with the AC on too.
