The things required to pull bitches
Also leaf springs wise. Some people say all pro springs are inferior to deavers and doesn't last as long. Hate to break it to you. Deavers and all pro uses the same supplier for their springs.

    same shit as everyone else
My bumper has pulled me and many others out many times as well. The center section of the bumper (where all the support is) is great and works well. But the quality of the product isn't there. The welds are poor, bad penetration, splatter everywhere (not cleaned off either) full of inclusions etc. Yes it works great and i'll give them that! But where is the quality?

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
Anybody that has destroyed their All Pro armor...
must not be very good at operating their junk :der:

    :crapstorm:

muh 12 year old junk's sheet metal doesn't 'ave a single dent anywhere...
but I'll suppose I should blame All Pro for that :notsure:

I do have a coupla' flat spots on the bottom side of the sliders...
But if you'd have seen those rocks... you'd know why

What I like about the All Pro armor products...
is they don't weigh a shit ton...
reasonable weight to strength ratio... is a beautiful thing ;)

now what were you haters saying ? :lalala:

that's my buddy Ken. That sucked and he was furious, i would be too, but All Pro fixed that.

There was also another member in the superstition meet last year that yanked someone out with their AP bumper and the mounting point on the truck bent, but I think that is an OEM failure.

You're correct. There are no pictures. I saw an AP skid molded around a front diff (Lrgrnr), sliders flexing under body weight of a 200lb individual (jhodge83), sliders flexed up into and bending pinch welds (dbronzo), and a tweaked plate bumper mounting plate from heavy winching (Fire931) all in person. I really don't feel any need to satisfy whatever pictorial requirement you have. You can get in touch with those individuals and ask them about their experiences if you really want more information.

I'm just passing along what I've seen in a thread asking for that kind of information. You look at it as more than that, you're going a bit overboard.

I'm not in here to be "vs" anyone. I have my perspective. People with any interest can take it for what they want, same as Monkey's. All-pro has had their supporters and detractors long before either of us arrived to the party. Really nothing new going on here.

You want an interesting case study in that nickname, head over to Pirate or TTORA and search it. Lot of relevant reading pops up.

I'll amend: I personally do not have any pictures from those...incidents? They may be out there, but I'm not going to be bothered to find them.

I have trouble believing the skid formed around the diff. I can see sliders flexing (which really to me isn't that big of a deal as long as they return and you don't bend them past their elasticity, I could give two shits about my pinch weld), and I can see the bumper.

I have basically a VERY similar design to an All-Pro skid I made myself. I mean all the IFS skids are similar right...

Mine is 3/16. All Pro uses 7GA which is very close to 3/16. Like 2.83/16 or .1793" vs .1875.

I've caved mine in a few times, it's taken a beating. One time it was barely touching the diff but it did it's job and protected the truck, and I dropped the full weight on it right in the center. I don't need the weight of 1/4. I'll just reinforce it with some angle iron and keep the weight down and the strength up (look at larrys flat belly build and the post about tube frame with a skin). 3/16 is fine for what most people do. 3/16 with some strategic angle iron should be fine for nearly everyone. 1/4 is solid, but most people, if not everyone, don't need 1/4, so why bitch about all-pro skids? If you want 1/4 get it from another vendor.

I'd consider buying stuff from All-Pro but haven't had a need yet. Though I have seen negative threads, nothing bad enough to turn me off to all their products, as I've seen good stuff too. That's all I've got to say. Obviously I have no horse in this race.

You can try and discredit jandrews with pics of yall wheeling...but i'll step in and back him up at this point

I've seen him wheel...and i've seen larry's destroyed skid (there was another but i cant recall who destroyed it)...and i've seen jhodge's sliders flex just with the weight of a single adult male
