Went with Taller Tire ......steering went sluggish 265/65/17 to 265/70/17. Steers fine on lift. Alignment? Rims have been changed

Wider offset on wheels? You could notice a difference on steering leverage I suppose.

    Unsprung weight is the enemy.

Is the tire the same style/type? Or did you go from a OE type to something more manly?

Are the new wheels wider? More offset? Heavier?

Are you asking for a solution? Pretty much however it feels now is how it will feel indefinitely.

Pull one of the new wheels and weigh it, and weigh one of the old.

Get the specs of one of the new wheels. They may have come off a newer truck, but what I'm seeing is not an OE wheel. So specs will be different.

When was the last alignment performed? It could be that you've been off for a while, and a new spec (offset/width) has exaggerated the flaw.

Of course these things aren't sports cars anyway, but the principles of how things work are still 1st cousins.

How do your tie-rod ends look. If it's really that bad they might be a bit on the dry or on worn out side.

Did you use a tie-rod as a lift point for changing the wheels? Is this happening when driving or just parked? Are your tires low on pressure?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Wider wheels, bigger heavier tires will do that, especially replacing the stock tire/wheel combo.

Took In to Midas they Looked it over and didnt find any steering issues. They think just the tires. seemed better after leaving there. They thought fluid was fine. They drove and said nothing about alignment. Rear brakes needing adsjustment to slow down the Taco better.
