correct. a brand new TT was rated at like 155mph. But because of their weight, if you do get them going that fast yeah... as unfortunately his parents found out :( I've seen one partially mangle a semi cab once!

Awesome Bug. My parents have a 72 in orange. Previous owner before us bored the engine .30 over and put a racing cam and other goodies in. Love those little cars. :D Hope you get more then $1600.. If not keep it.

As to the topic, Ford Aerostar ShagWagon Edition. This was my first car, and I still own it and drive it daily. Parents said I could have it, because they where going to get rid of it anyway. What 16 year old is going to turn down free wheels?

I have a few others parked out back, but they aren't on the road so I won't bother posting pics.

One of the "Others" I mentioned before. Thought it was worth posting. 1977 Chevy c60. 360 big block (gas job) with a 5 speed transmission and 2 speed rear. Working on a pesky brake problem at the moment, but I do haul rock/grave/dirt when it is running. Good solid truck they built back in the day, if you can take the beating it gives your back. And if you can deal with a top speed of 55-60mph.. [IMG]

Paid $1800 for it a few years back, and drove it here from West Virginia with no major problems. Hope to restore it completely someday. :D

Yeah, the police said he more then likely topped it out and lost control of it completely. According to my dad he was just doing but circles down the highway. My dad was going the opposite direction, and he saw and pulled over to the shoulder hoping he'd pass them.. he didn't. Just unlucky I guess. I'm just glad I didn't lose them though, really glad.

My friend had one of these for a total of ~2 months before it got totaled by a truck running a red light. It was a beautiful car just like that but black everything and the best sounding hardest hitting system I've ever heard. It was also the only thing in my town that could keep up with my Porsche. Sub'd for tomorrow so I can get a pic of it.
