^Timing chain cover and rear coolant pipe leaks are abnormal events. The vacuum pump replacement is scheduled maintenance, in the books at 100k intervals. It's akin to engines needing timing belt replacement in the previous century.

OR and Pro with electronic brake boosters have a blanking plate where the pump would be.

Yep, I've examined mine a few times and so far at 80K I'm good. After skimming over that TSB, that doesn't look bad at all. Says it will throw a code but it seems that by that time it may be too late and could be dangerous. Thank you for the heads up.

Funny, I did mine at 55k and indeed the two front plugs on the passenger side were ever so slightly too loose from the factory.

Interesting. I can see that angle in the argument.
On 2gr-fks, it is not clear why they advise for 60k. Toyota's other d4s with Atkinson engine have 120K replacement interval.

19 taco here. At 60k I had longer than usual cranking. Did spark plugs and found 2 plugs hand tight and one loose. So yea, at least check them.

The reason for recommended plug replacement at 60k on the 2GR-FKS is the higher cylinder pressures related to DI. Higher cylinder pressure is harder on plugs. That said, I have 76K on mine and will wait to 80K before replacing. I had a 2GR-FE (no DI) and they had 120k replacement interval. Ran those plugs to 185k with no issues.

Which one? 2AR-FE is 120K interval but has no DI. 2AR-FSE and 2AR-FXE are DI but have 60K plug change intervals.

I replaced mine at 70k. Wish I had done it sooner - the #5 plug was barely finger tight and there was a lot of buildup on the coil pack. For the price and time it takes to replace them, I’d say it’s worth it just to have piece of mind that all your cylinders are happy.

My mileage changed for the better - for all of three weeks when I changed the plugs as recommended. Whoopee.......... not worth disturbing the wiring.

There are many iterations of their 2.5L engines going back just 10 years. The A25A-FXS is a hybrid only engine. That might have something to do with the 120K interval. But, all the standard non-hybrid DI engines have 60K intervals, as far as I am aware.

"..If your Camry is equipped with the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine (A25A-FKS), you can wait until this 144-month/120,000-mile mark to replace your spark plugs. Drivers with this engine should also inspect their vacuum pump for the brake booster at this time, replacing if necessary..."

Well, its twice as long as ealier generations, so there's that to appreciate.

Shop other places. Only plugs are needed. Some online skanks want to supersize everything. ;)

Looking for something other than what's listed in the owners manual? Many of us do transmission drain and fills around 60k. I don't think that's in the book.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked when the dealer said your plugs are due to be changed. Thanks but I got that. I had it in for the 60k service. Last time there for their work. They raped me for the tranny and differential fluid changes.
