Its used, it is for real a TRD OffRoad, but dealer has it listed as SR5.

I sent them an email asking about the TRD SR5, no response yet. If it wasn't an AC I would try to see if I could get SR5 pricing, but I need a DC.

It's a dealer with an incorrect listing. Not ground breaking news, they do it all the time.

I find the price more shocking than anything. They are asking for more than what it cost new.

Yup.... lots of dealers have SR5 Long Bed in their titles, but show a short bed or TRD. I figured it was because they don't really understand.... well and probably lots of folks associate SR5 being a "good thing" as there were so many fondly remembered Toyota pickups that were SR5 before TRD came around.

Most or all of these adds are entered by people who have no idea what a truck even is. They've likely never even heard of a TRD. Most salesmen don't know the difference between a TRD Sport or Offroad.

PS: Your username rules. I wonder if Augustus McCrae is taken....

That's the bait and switch - that's how they say "Oh the listing is not for the truck in the picture, that truck is $39.5K".... They tried that shit on me and I went ballistic on the sales manager when he tried that shit. My dealer had a TRD Sport and a SR5 4 banger.... tried to tell the the price listed online was for the SR5.... yeah no.. BOOM blow up "you f-ing liar"!! In the AM when the service department was full of people. We came to an "agreement" pretty quickly after that.
