    It doesn't need a V8. The low center of gravity boxer engine has the right weight distribution and is what this car was designed for. I've driven these with V8s and they don't handle as well. The boxer /6 makes it perform like mid-engined car should.

    2100# car with 190 HP.

    Thanks! Cool that you know the color! I got lucky...it is a unicorn in the IS world--5spd, LSD, and Bluestone :thumbsup:

    I really like the color. I also think ASP is nice (and just as rare)

    That sure is a unicorn! Agreed on ASP, but those were never available with the 5speed.
    I've actually got an 04 Sportdesign in Thundercloud Metallic - 5speed & LSD as well:fistbump:

    I've been driving this 95 4runner as my daily. It's nice to have a vehicle that you don't have to worry about getting scratched or hit. It looks so small next to my 3rd gen.

    My 2800lb car with 400whp feels slow now. Haha.

    But yea for a balanced car your right. Bit IMO all vehicles benefit from an LS swap. Haha.

    The Tundra is my daily driver and the Inferno is my toy. Yes my daily driver gets crap gas milage and definitely the worst between the two but if I gave a sh!t about milage I would not have purchased two trucks. The Tundra is big and comfortable with tons of power and does all the towing and hauling and getting me to the the mountain for skiing 50+ times a year. The Tacoma gets to jump and play and climb things and get dirty to then get a good detailing before getting put to bed with a cozy cover in a heated garage at the end of the day. My wife's daily driver is a Lexus so we are definitely a Toyota family.
