Had an Ultragauge on my '05 4.0 and the % engine load read around 13% at idle with no load (no a/c, lights etc) in neutral. Now with my '15 4.0 the same gauge reads 27%. Plus all readings seem to be twice as high under all driving conditions. Even saw 100% once under hard acceleration. What are you all seeing for this parameter? Is this difference worth troubleshooting? Other than this, truck drives great and MPG is about the same as my '05.

Subbed. Per my headunit (idatalink) my engine load is always between 80-95% even on mild acceleration. Always wondered about this.

    Its around 25% idling.

I was at 32% idling in my driveway yesterday afternoon with the heater running and radio on. I have no idea how this is calculated though so it is just a meaningless datapoint to me.
